Before you can use the Easybell app with the Cloud PBX, you need to install the app on your phone and create a separate device account in the Cloud PBX.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through both steps and show you how to log in to the app afterward.

1. Install the Easybell app

Download the Easybell app from the Play Store for Android. Please don't open the app just yet.

2. Open the Cloud PBX

Open my.easybell and click on “Cloud PBX” in the menu bar.

Depending on the function, the Cloud PBX uses two different types of extensions:

  • User: person-specific extensions
  • Resources: non-person-specific extensions

Please click on the relevant entry in the sidebar.

3. Add a device

Now open the "Devices" menu item and click on "Add new device."

4. Configure the device

Under "Device Type," select "Easybell App," and then under "App Type," select "Mobile App."

Fill in the remaining details as usual. Please make sure that an extension is assigned in the “Incoming Calls” tab.

If you have any questions about this, please refer to our article “Creating Devices in the Cloud PBX.”

5. Generate login credentials

Now enter your email address in the "Login Information" tab.

Then click the "Save and Generate Login Credentials" button.

Your login credentials and a QR code will now be displayed.

6. Scan the QR code in the app

Open the Easybell app on your phone. When you launch it for the first time, you can scan the QR code to sign in or enter the displayed information manually.

The app will request certain permissions on your phone, such as access to the microphone or your contacts. Please grant these permissions, as the app’s functionality cannot be guaranteed otherwise.

Note: Only one phone number can be registered in the app.
