2. Establishing a connection to the router

Establish a connection to your router via WLAN or LAN. You can find instructions here: Establishing a connection to the router.

3. Enter access data

You will receive your DSL access data by e-mail before activation. You can also view them in your customer portal under "My data" -> "Access data".

Note: If you are using a router provided by Easybell, your access data is already pre-installed.

4. Further optimizations

As a rule, your connection will work perfectly immediately after setup. You will achieve even better results if you pay attention to the following points:

  • Routers not only establish the Internet connection, but are usually also fully-fledged telephone exchanges -> Instructions for setting up telephony in end devices
  • Deactivate the forced disconnection of the Internet connection
  • Some applications such as video streaming or online games require a connection that is as fast and stable as possible. Network cables (LAN) are usually the first choice here.
  • Always make sure you are using the latest firmware
