Note:

  • Please do not use the splitter!
  • Please do not use a black adapter (RJ45-TAE), because this is poled wrong.

Connection to the line telephone network via DSL cable

  1. Please connect the RJ45 plug of the DSL cable to the DSL port on the router (sometimes DSL/TEL).
  2. Please put the DSL adapter in the middle slot (labelled with “F”) on the telephone port.

Phone socket (TAE):

Connection to the line telephone network via DSL/telephone cable ('Y' cable) and DSL adapter

 

  1. Please connect the larger end of the DSL cable to the DSL labelled port (or DSL/TEL) on the router.
  2. Now connect the smaller grey end with the DSL adapter.
  3. Please put the DSL adapter in the middle slot (labelled with “F”) on the telephone port.

    Phone socket (TAE):

Connecting to the power supply and connection of telephones and computers

  1. Please connect your router using the power adaptor.
  2. Connect your computer to the router via LAN or WiFi.
  3. Connect your telephones to your router via the right connections.

1. identify connection type

There are two possible cable options when you receive your router.

Left: DSL cable (TAE-RJ45) 

Right: Y-cable (2*RJ45-1*RJ45) with grey DSL adapter (RJ45-TAE)

If both cables are included, please use the DSL cable (TAE-RJ45).

Important:

  • Please do not use a splitter under any circumstances.
  • Please do not use a black adapter (RJ45-TAE), as this has the wrong polarity.

1.1. Connection to the telephone network with DSL cable

  1. Connect the RJ45 plug of the DSL cable to the socket of the router labelled DSL (sometimes also DSL/TEL).
  2. Plug the TAE plug directly into the middle slot of the telephone socket (TAE F).

1.2 Connection to the telephone network with Y-cable and DSL adapter

  1. Connect the long end of the DSL cable to the socket on the router labelled DSL (sometimes also DSL/TEL).
  2. Connect the shorter grey cable end to the DSL adapter.
  3. Plug the DSL adapter into the middle slot of your telephone socket labelled "F".

2. put the router into operation and set it up

  1. Connect your router to the power supply.
  2. Connect your computer to the router via LAN or WLAN.
  3. Connect your telephones to the router via the appropriate connections
