We will inform you of the exact time frame by e-mail and, if necessary, text message. Please understand that it is not possible to narrow down the time frame.

To increase the chance that the Telekom technician will find you and the connection will work smoothly, you should pay attention to the following:

1. ensure presence

  • A person of legal age must be on site to allow the technician access.
  • If you cannot be there yourself, organize a substitute (e.g. a neighbor).

2. check doorbell & doorbell sign

  • Your name must be clearly legible on the doorbell sign.
  • Alternatively, you can put a note where the technician should ring the bell - this is particularly important if you are being represented by a neighbor.
  • Check that your doorbell works.

3. ensure access to the house distribution board

  • The technician needs access to the house distribution board (switch box).
  • If you do not know the location, ask your janitor or property manager.
  • Make sure that the room is not locked on the day of switching. If a key is required, obtain it in good time.

Note on the router

You do not have to connect your router. The technician will bring his own test equipment.
