Set caller ID on forwarding
Similar to the "Show extension name indisplay" function, it may be useful to adjust the transmitted call number. Whether you transfer the original source call number or the call number of the forwarding extension depends on your particular scenario.
The latter is useful if it is less important who exactly is calling, but what the original destination of the call is (e.g., a specific hotline). If, on the other hand, you transmit the source number, this has the advantage that calls can be precisely assigned and callbacks are possible.
Note: Only for external forwarding!
To prevent routing errors, this function does not apply to forwarding to internal extensions.
