Please test the phone number on another end device. The easiest way to do this is with a telephone program (softphone) on your computer. Please take the following steps:

  1. Download one of the following softphones (programs):
  2. Set up the phone number in the softphone. You can find numerous instructions on setting up apps and softphones in our help section.
  3. Make a call to any external line (e.g. your cell phone number, a friend's number, a service hotline) and try to reproduce the error pattern with the softphone.

If the call is successful, we know that the fault is in your other end device. This is an important step in narrowing down the source of the fault!
