1. Open Phone Settings

First, please go to my.easybell.

There, please click on “Phone Settings” in the left-hand menu bar.

Alternatively, you can also click on “Manage Phone Numbers” directly in the my.easybell dashboard.

2. Open the connection

In the Overview of connections, please click on the connection whose settings you want to adjust.

3. Set the connection to conference mode

In the following menu, select "Change connection type" and switch to "Conference".

4. Access participant authentication

You can now configure participant access. To do this, click the "Change" button under "Configuration."

5. Set up attendee tracking

You have three options for participant management:

 

5.1. Participant verification via PIN

In this mode, you can set a 4- to 10-digit PIN. Callers to the conference extension will be prompted to enter the PIN you have set using their phone. Only then will they gain access to the conference call.

To do this, enter a 4- to 10-digit number combination in the input field and then click "Apply."

5.2. Participant verification via the registration list

In this mode, you can enter phone numbers that should be granted access to the conference call when they dial in. Callers who do not provide their phone numbers (anonymous) or whose numbers have not been entered by you will be denied access when they attempt to join the conference room.

To do this, enter a phone number in the input field and then click the plus sign next to the input field.

Phone numbers with access to the conference room are displayed below the input field after being added and can be deleted by clicking the trash can icon.

5.3. Disable participant monitoring

In this mode, all participant controls are disabled. Callers simply need to dial the conference room phone number to gain direct access to the conference call.

6. Check the status of the conference call

After you have saved the desired option for participant control by clicking "Apply," the connection configuration will indicate whether participant control is enabled or not.
