To ensure that only you use your phone numbers, your VoIP devices or software must register with our SIP server, the registrar, using your SIP user name and SIP password.

The registrar differs depending on whether you want to use phone numbers (blocks) or Cloud PBX end devices.

We cover both cases in this article.

1. SIP access data in call number management

We are modernizing our customer portal - for an even better user experience.

1.1 Calling up call number management

First open the Easybell customer portal.

There, please click on "Manage numbers" in the top menu bar under "Phone functions".

Alternatively, you can also click on "Manage phone numbers" directly in the dashboard.

1.2 Opening SIP access data

Click on the desired phone number to open the configuration overview.

You will now see your SIP user name, the SIP password and the SIP registrar voip.easybell.de

If you want to change your SIP password, click on the cogwheel symbol next to the password.

 

1.3 Change SIP password

Now enter the new password in the corresponding box. (Please follow the instructions.)

If you cannot think of a new or secure password, you can click on "Generate" to generate new passwords that automatically fulfill all security requirements.

Confirm with "Apply".

2. SIP access data in the Cloud PBX

2.1 Opening the Cloud PBX

Open the Easybell customer portal and log in with your personal access data.

Then select "Telephone functions" in the top menu and click on "Cloud telephone system" to access the overview of your system.

2.2 Edit end device

Now click on "Edit" next to the desired end device and scroll to the "Configure end device" section. Here you will now see the SIP user name and SIP password, as well as the SIP registrar for this end device account.

You can change the SIP password by clicking on the pencil icon next to it.

2.3 Changing the SIP password

Enter your desired password. Pay attention to the notes on password security.
