The catch-all feature is used to route calls to a single shared extension from a range of phone numbers that do not have active extensions. For example, if a colleague’s extension is no longer in use but is still in circulation, the call would automatically be routed to the catch-all extension you selected. This ensures that a call is not lost simply because the extension no longer exists.

Instructions

To successfully set up the catch-all feature, please follow these steps:

1. Open Advanced Settings

In the side navigation, go to the “Cloud PBX” menu item. This will display the various sections of the Cloud PBX. Next klick “Advanced Settings”.

2. Set up a catch-all

In theGeneral Settings” tab, under “Call Handling,” select “Catch-all” from the drop-down menu. A new field labeled “Forward to this extension” will now appear below—here, you must select the extension to which calls should be forwarded if a phone number or extension is not assigned to an extension or call group.

3. Save settings

Now click "Save."

A message will appear in the upper right corner indicating that your changes have been saved.
