If you have multiple customer accounts with Easybell, these accounts can borrow and assign phone numbers to one another. You can use these borrowed phone numbers both in your trunk connections and in your Cloud PBX.

This enables the use of speed dials, call groups, busy light boards, call transfer, or call pickup across different area codes, as if all colleagues were in the same location. It also simplifies the administration of multiple locations.

1. Open the phone settings

First, please go to my.easybell.

There, please click on “Phone Settings” in the left-hand menu bar.

Alternatively, you can also click on “Manage Phone Numbers” directly in the my.easybell dashboard.

2. Open Phone Number Management

The phone settings for businesses are divided into two tabs: Connections and Phone Numbers.

Please switch to the "Phone Numbers" tab.

3. Add a phone number

Click on "Add Phone Number" and then select "Borrow Phone Number."

4. Link your Easybell account

If you have linked accounts in the past, you can access them and their phone numbers directly here.

To add a new account, please click on “Link Account.”

5. Enter your login credentials

Please enter the username and password for the account you want to link.

6. Select phone numbers

If the linking was successful, all phone numbers associated with this account will be displayed.

Select one or more, then click "Borrow Phone Numbers"

7. Assign phone numbers to the Cloud PBX

In the next step, you will be asked which line(s) you want to assign the leased phone number(s) to.

Please select “Cloud PBX” here.

After a few moments, the leased phone number will appear in your phone number overview and can be managed there.

8. Use a phone number in the Cloud PBX

You can now assign the phone number(s) to an extension ("Resources" or "Users") in the Cloud PBX as usual.
