Your order: Incorrect line owner

Thank you for your order to activate your connection.

We have worked together with Deutsche Telekom to activate your connection. They have rejected the connection, citing “incorrect line owner” as the reason. We would now like to request you to help us identify the reason for the rejection.

If you want to see the information that we have stored to your order, then please look in your email.

Line owner:
- First name: Please look in your email.
- Surname: Please look in your email.
- Company: Please look in your email.

Line address:
- Street: Please look in your email.
- City: Please look in your email.

Here are some recommendations on how you can check the information you provided:

1) Compare with Deutsche Telekom bill
Check that the recipient of the bill is the same as the assigned line owner. Even the smallest differences can result in rejection:

Look out in particular for:
- Double first names
- First name and surname swapped round
- Other contract holders (e.g. partner)
- „t" instead of „tt"
- „oe" instead of „ö"
- Company name missing or mistakenly provided for private connection

2) Call Deutsche Telekom
Deutsche Telekom may have another line owner stored in its internal system than stated on the bill. You can only find out this information by calling Deutsche Telekom for free on 0800 33 01000. If you don’t call from your home phone line then make sure you have your Deutsche Telekom customer number on hand.

If Deutsche Telekom has another line owner stored then please provide this exact name when ordering the DSL connection. Deutsche Telekom will also send you a form for changing your master customer data if necessary. You should expect a waiting time of 10 – 14 days for Deutsche Telekom to make these changes.
