Microsoft Teams is the central tool for internal communication in many companies. However, for a complete unified communications solution, a connection to the public telephone network makes sense.

Easybell offers two solutions for connecting Microsoft Teams to a SIP trunk and using it for telephony: Call2Teams Go and the Teams Connector.

1. Call2Teams Go - The simple solution

Conventional Teams integrations often require the paid add-on "Teams Phone". This means that an additional license must be purchased for each user - expensive and time-consuming.

With Call2Teams Go for the Easybell Cloud telephone system, you only need a single license for Teams Phone. Call2Teams is therefore generally the cheaper option for integrating telephony into Teams. Only with some special licenses, such as educational licenses, is the Teams Phone add-on already included. In this case, the Teams Connector would be cheaper.

2. Teams Connector - The classic solution with direct SIP trunk connection

If you do not want to use Easybell's cloud telephone system, you can connect your SIP trunk directly to Microsoft Teams. However, in addition to the Teams Connector from Easybell, you will need paid licenses for Teams Phone from Microsoft.

Licenses for Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Standard and Premium are available directly from the Microsoft offer page. These start from €4.60 per user/month plus VAT, with the first month free of charge.

Licenses for Teams Phone must be booked additionally in most cases.
