If your router conforms to the criteria of your plan, you can keep on using it.
Get more details on the producer's website or handbook. Please notice, that lots of DSL providers send "branded" routers. These routers will only work for the provider's products. A modification is very complex. If you are not sure, please ask your provider first, if the use of VoIP services or DSL connections by other providers is allowed.
For using our Komplett connections, you need a router which supports the following technology (depending on the connection type):
ADSL2+ (ITU G.992.5 Annex B or Annex J), VDSL2 (ITU-T G.993.2; Annex B; with 100 Mbps vectoring) or PPPOE via LAN (at FTTH connections).
The router has to support VLAN ID 7 for using VDSL and ADSL2+ Annex J. For the successful use of Annex J: Please note, that the device supports Annex J as well as VLAN IDs. If not, Annex J is not able to be used.
Furthermore, the device needs to be capable with VoIP to be compatible with our phone connections. In some cases, you also need a separate data set. Here you can find an exclusive report about the best data sets on the German market. (German)
Please consider that we cannot offer you support for every device on the market. Here you can find a list of the supported router.
