What can you do with blocking lists?
You can generate optional blocking lists for each phone number. Here you can see how to set up blocking lists and which different opportunities they offer.
Access blocklist settings
Please log in to the customer portal and go to "Phone settings → Manage numbers".
Expand the details of the phone number for which you want to create a blocklist and click on the small gear icon behind "Blocklist".
Select blocklist mode
The settings can be made separately for incoming and outgoing calls. You can switch between the lists for incoming and outgoing calls with the tabs.
Incoming calls - Blockmode
Function: Special phone number or phone number areas (e.g. anonymous calls) are not transferred to the phone number.
Use (example): Protect yourself from disagreeable calls.
Incoming calls - Allowmode
Function: The connection, in general, is blocked for incoming calls. Only phones numbers or area codes fixed by you can call you.
Use (example): Make sure that only your closest confidants can call you.
Outgoing calls - Blockmode
Function: The connection, in general, is free for outgoing calls. Only phone numbers or area codes fixed by you can’t be called. The blocking for single calls can be avoided by a PIN.
Use (example): Make sure that expensive destinations like special phone numbers won't be called.
Outgoing calls - Allowmode
Function: The connection, in general, is blocked for outgoing calls. Only phone numbers or area codes fixed by you can’t be called. The blocking for single calls can be avoided by a PIN.
Use (example): Make sure your child won't call a stranger.
Additional features
Under the blue button "Additional features" you can decide whether you want to apply or reset the respective settings for all phone numbers.
Make your choice and click on "Apply" to save your settings correctly.
