How does easybell estimate the expected bandwidth?

Here you can get information about how the bandwidth is calculated.

The expected bandwidth is estimated by the length of the line from your flat to the next main distribution frame. But there are some unexpected factors such as the diameter of the cable or the quality of line in general. We assume a mean line. That's why sometimes, the bandwidth can be much higher than our estimate. But it's also possible, that you've got a less good line. So the bandwidth guarantee is much lower than the expected one. If you’ve got an ADSL2+ line, you will get a very similar download speed from us. But that doesn't apply to VDSL. If the guaranteed bandwidth is not reached after the activation, you'll have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, for free. Please notice that the speed of your DSL line depends on the quality of your router. easybell recommends FRITZ!Boxes.
