To ensure that only you can use your phone numbers, your VoIP devices or software must log in to our SIP server—the Registrar—using a SIP username and SIP password.

The Registrar varies depending on the product you use:

  1. Phone numbers or blocks of phone numbers
  2. End devices of the Cloud PBX

We cover both cases in this article.

1. SIP access data in phone settings

1.1. Calling up phone settings

First, please go to my.easybell.

There, please click on “Phone Settings” in the left-hand menu bar.

Alternatively, you can also click on “Manage Phone Numbers” directly in the my.easybell dashboard.

1.2. View details

Do you have a private customer plan? If so, please click on “Private”!

The phone settings for businesses are divided into two tabs: Connections and Phone Numbers.

In the Connection Overview, please click on the connection whose details you wish to view.

You will see an overview of your telephone numbers.

Please click on the one whose details you wish to view.

1.3. Opening SIP access data

Under “Details,” you will now see your SIP username, SIP password, and SIP registrar.

1.4. Change SIP password

If you want to change your SIP password, click “Change SIP Password” next to the password.

Now enter the new password in the corresponding field. (Please follow the instructions.)

Confirm by clicking “Save”.

2. SIP access data in the Cloud PBX

2.1 Opening the Cloud PBX

Open my.easybell and click on “Cloud PBX” in the menu bar.

Depending on the function, the Cloud PBX uses two different types of extensions:

  • User: person-specific extensions
  • Resources: non-person-specific extensions

Please click on the relevant entry in the sidebar.

2.2 Edit end device

Please open the “Devices” menu in the sidebar and click “Edit” next to the desired device.

In the device settings, please go to the “Device Configuration” tab. Here you will now see the SIP username and SIP password, as well as the SIP registrar for this device account.

Important! Under “How would you like to configure the device?”, “Manually” must be selected. Otherwise, the device will be provisioned automatically.

2.3 Changing the SIP password

You can change the SIP password by clicking the pencil icon next to it.

Enter your desired password. Be sure to follow the password security guidelines.
