Do I get a static IP address?

Fixed IP addresses have many advantages:

Easy management: Static addresses make it easier to manage and configure networks, especially for devices that need to be constantly accessible.
Security: Static IPs allow precise control over network access and can be used more specifically in firewall rules and access controls.
Stable connection: Static IP addresses guarantee constant addresses for servers and services, which is essential for reliable connections and accessibility.

Since fixed IP addresses are not required by all customers, they are always optional with Easybell. Static IP addresses can be booked for Annex J, VDSL and FTTH connections.

Companies receive a static IP address with the package "Premium Service". In addition to a static IPv4 address, you will also receive an IPv6 address space with /56 prefix and /64 prefix.

Private customers can also book an IPv6 address space with /56 prefix and /64 prefix for their Internet connection.

If your company provides you with a connection via Home Office Connect, you can choose from the Home Premium Service and Premium Service incl. static IP options. However, this assumes that your company has activated this option.
