Manual for Windows (from Windows Vista)

Start the “snipping tool” program.
Press “New”.
Mark the desired screen area with the mouse pointer.
Save the file by clicking on the disk symbol and then selecting the file name and location.

Instructions for Mac OS X

Press “Command+Shift+4”.
Use the mouse pointer to highlight the desired screen area.
The file will be saved on your desktop.
